Light the Night 2009

As all of you know, we created a team to honor my father in the Light the Night Walk. For me this walk was a huge deal and it is was an even bigger deal my father would be walking with us. Almost a year ago my dad had surgery and we were not sure if he would even be here today, but he is and he is doing awesome! WE did this walk to celebrate his life and that he was living with cancer, but he is alive!

We managed to raise about $600 thanks to all of our awesome friends and family! It was so awesome to have our friends there to walk with us, walk with my dad really! He walked the whole thing and did awesome.

I cannot tell you the feeling of walking with thousands of people and all the balloons. Its an amazing sea of red balloons and then some white, being cancer survivors, and gold, being those who have passed. It was awesome!

Enchanted Forest

Nanna wanted to take a trip to the Enchanted Forest while she was here so they VERY last day they were open for the season we drove down and spent a few hours there.

Nanna so bravely went into the rabbit hole and indian caves with Natalia! Thank goodness she was there because mommy couldn't do it and daddy was a little too big. Natalia had the best time.

We also went to the outdoor theater while we were there and say "snow white and the seven dorks." Natalia of course had to have her picture taken with the princess!

Harley boys

We have a feeling Alexander is going to grow up to be just like his papa. Auntie Jenna sent up a dew rag for Alexander so naturally the boys had to wear them together!

Tea party with Nanna

Natalia has been asking Nanna so come have a tea party with her for the longest time so while she was here visiting Natalia finally got to have her tea party with her nanna. She has the coolest Nanna ever, she cute cheese out with a bear cookie cutter and made cookies!

Fly in at Mac/Evergreen Airport

John recently took part in a chilli cook of at the MAC Evergreen airport. Its was a very soggy and wet day so what better time to suit up and go puddle stomping. This is when i discovered my poor son does not have a coat! YIKES!
That had this really awesome little peddle planes and need less to say the kids thought they were the BEST possible things in the world!
John also kicked butt with his chili and took first place! He has become quiet the cook lately. We are very proud of him!

True Diva

Only a true diva goes to sleep with her rain boots on. Natalia is very into fashion right now and wants to wear as many shoes in way day as humanly possibly, so if that means sleeping in them, so be it. Daddy thought this was just too funny!

Natalia's first day of school

Our little girl is growing so quickly, she has her first day of school September 14th 2009. We were so lucky to have Nanna here to share in the big day with us. Natalia is currently going to McMinnville Playschool, co-op preschool in Mac and she is loving it. She is able to expres herself in so many ways and has become quiet the painter.
