Home from the patch, napping????

Everyone was tired after spending a few hours at the farm so we were all going to lay down for a nap. Alexander of course was fast asleep in his carseat, Natalia was too until we brought her inside...

oh and by the way, if John's in bed, Emma's in BED! LOL

Pacific Natural Foods Farms

Like every year since Natalia was born we have spent the weekend before Halloween out at the Pacific Natural Foods Farms. The owner of John's company opens up the farm for the families of the employees to come out and enjoy some good burgers and funny farm animals.

The last two years they opened the diary farm up to families, however this year they opened the greenhouses up to the families. While we were a little disappointed we didn't get to see all the animals we usually do and take silly pictures in the painted cutouts, it was nice to be able to take part in the other things the farm has to offer.

Natalia was so thrilled to be able to pick peppers, tomatoes (her favorite) and flowers. We didn't make it home with any of the tomatoes we pick as Natalia ate every last one of them before we made it to the car, we did bring home some gorgeous peppers and some really fun Pumpkins.

Every year we look for the perfect pumpkin to carve. This year we decided to get pumpkins which had character to them as well as the nice round ones. We also got the perfect pumpkin for Alexander. As most of you know, this time two years ago, I carved out a pumpkin, put Natalia in it and got some of the best pictures I have ever gotten of her. This year I am hoping to do the same with Alexander. He tends to get grumpy if you mess up his normal routine so we will see how it goes.

(Beth the nature pictures are for you! I thought the peppers, flowers and leaves were too beautiful!)

Great news though is that Papa got to go with us. It was a little painful for him and he had a bit of a hard time but he stuck it out because he wouldn't miss taking Natalia to the pumpkin patch for the world. Natalia and Papa truly are two peas in a pod.

The power of words

Today I decided to look for a quote for the top of our page that would represent family. During that search I found this quote and thought it was so true. I have to share it.

Making the decision to have a child - it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking outside your body.

playin around

My children are so funny. Natalia is really taking to her brother and loves to make him laugh.

Spoiled

Our children are spoiled. Heaven forbid they sleep in the beds we bought them! Even thought they are bed hogs and we get absolutely NO sleep, we wouldn't change getting to spend time with them!

Natalia Johanna Duncan

The other day while Alexander was sleeping Natalia and I were hanging out. Suddenly out of no where she asks me if I will take her picture. My answer of course is "YES!" Little did I know she had the whole things planned out. She wanted them to be outside infront of the tree. (This is a very common place we take pictures here so maybe that's why?) I present my beautiful daughter, Natalia!

Family

Last week we got the pleasure of meeting some of the family we have not had the chance to meet yet. However I am an IDIOT and didn't get a picture of them with the kids. We had the chance to meet Papa Kuskey's mother and sister who are both really sweet people. Natalia loved both of them. Alexander loves anyone who will hold him right now. I did on the other hand get pictures of some of Natalia's favorite people.

Not the best picture of the four of us but at least this time my tukus isn't hanging out. :)

Silly girls

Uncle Bret posing with our girl.

Chelsea is so good with the kids.

Nee Nee loves her babies. This is a rare shot, usually Natalia has Nee Nee running EVERYWHERE with her.

Natalia asks everyone to "rock a bye baby" her

Chelsea loves her babies and her babies love her.

We are silly

Beautiful Auntie Chelsea!

Natalia was playing hide and seek with Ginger, she loves that kitty! Too bad Ginger didn't know she was playing. LOL
