There is no doubt that it is around the family and the home that all the greatest virtues, the most dominating virtues of human society are created, strengthened and maintained - Winston Churchill
We wanted to get picture done, but we have not have time yet. So we thought we would at least do one at home. We will get pictures done once we get in the new house. We were planning to have a nice fancy dinner but since that didn't happen we just dressed up for a quick picture.
Despite some our family being bahhumbugs this year and not having some of our family here because they just couldn't make it, we made the best of it. Natalia was really into Christmas this year so she had the best time opening gifts. Alexander had fun watching her.
Natalia has been asking for a Christmas tree for weeks now. In not knowing when we would be closing on the house we have been putting off getting a tree. Friday, John and I decided to make the call of spending one more Christmas in the old house. Because of this, Saturday, John drove us out to the new house, we grabbed the box of tree decorations and stockings. We also grabbed every ones Christmas presents. Our house now looks like it is in the Christmas spirit.
AS we all know, money is short and tight this year so for some of our friends I decided to make them christmas presents this year. Thought I would share them with you! If you want one made, let me know. :)
It snowed here in Portland today. We are very happy to have snow but then it makes it a little hard to move! Natalia had so much fun in the snow though, I would take snow over moving. Her and papa had so much fun getting into a snowball fight. It was a little hard to make snowballs though because the snow is so dry and so cold. It is the perfect skiing snow though!
