Camp Rivendale

Last Friday we had the joy of spending the day with our friends from Highland Hills Family Childcare. We meet up with them at camp rivendale and did a picnic lunch.

Alexander is 7 months

Alexander is now 7 months old. Its so hard for us to believe out little man is so old already. With his 7 month birthday also came a tooth! Which of course is so fun for mommy since his is nursing still. Time goes too quickly.

Alexander wants to be big too

Alexander wants to be big and use a cup too. Maddie is nice enough to share with him

Bath time can be so much fun

Maddie came and stayed with us this last week. Her mom went on vacation so we got to have her for a week. These are just some pictures of bath time while she was here. Such a typical Maddie face.

What Kids Find Fun

So only my kid and Yaya's kid would find it fun to lock Emma out of her kennel and play inside of it.

A Sunny Day in Lafayette

I know most of you know this but I have been sick for two weeks now, so these pictures are from a gorgeous day we had just a little less than two weeks ago. I am sorry I haven't gotten them posted sooner, but better late than never.

Natalia has had some sidewalk chalk put away for a while now. Since we finally have a place to draw outside with it we thought we would take advantage of the nice day and sit outside on color on the sidewalk.

Now I am totally one of those people who freaks out about everything, that being said, I wasn't sure if the HOA would freak that we colored with chalk so when we were done we made sure to clean it up!

Papa and his babies

It has been a long time since I have seen two children love their grandfather the way my children love my father. They just adore him and they have no idea how lucky they are to have him living with them. Despite what has happened in the last year and a half we are blessed to have my father here with us.

The raising of the flag

For years John has always said he was going to put a flag pole in the front yard of his home. And as usual when we are with the Sigler's we end up buying this, but its ALWAYS fun! Anyhow, we finally bought out flag pole and the Sigler's did too. Right now ours proudly displays the American Flag but look out, when football season comes it's all Steelers baby! And yes, the Sigler's will have Seahawks (that was ACTUALLY painful for me to type) But have no fear, I will get a Steelers flag on their pole too! ;)

It may seem silly to most people for us to take pictures of the flag going up at our house, but it is a big deal to us. Its our way of honoring John A. Duncan and forever remembering the wonderful things papa brought to our lives. We display the flag to honor those who have given so much to make our lives better.

Oh and while the rest of us were outside in the cold freezing out tukus' off, Natalia was th eonly smart one, inside looking at the raising of the flag through the windows!

Alexander just being him...
