Pacific Natural Foods Farms

Like every year since Natalia was born we have spent the weekend before Halloween out at the Pacific Natural Foods Farms. The owner of John's company opens up the farm for the families of the employees to come out and enjoy some good burgers and funny farm animals.

The last two years they opened the diary farm up to families, however this year they opened the greenhouses up to the families. While we were a little disappointed we didn't get to see all the animals we usually do and take silly pictures in the painted cutouts, it was nice to be able to take part in the other things the farm has to offer.

Natalia was so thrilled to be able to pick peppers, tomatoes (her favorite) and flowers. We didn't make it home with any of the tomatoes we pick as Natalia ate every last one of them before we made it to the car, we did bring home some gorgeous peppers and some really fun Pumpkins.

Every year we look for the perfect pumpkin to carve. This year we decided to get pumpkins which had character to them as well as the nice round ones. We also got the perfect pumpkin for Alexander. As most of you know, this time two years ago, I carved out a pumpkin, put Natalia in it and got some of the best pictures I have ever gotten of her. This year I am hoping to do the same with Alexander. He tends to get grumpy if you mess up his normal routine so we will see how it goes.

(Beth the nature pictures are for you! I thought the peppers, flowers and leaves were too beautiful!)

Great news though is that Papa got to go with us. It was a little painful for him and he had a bit of a hard time but he stuck it out because he wouldn't miss taking Natalia to the pumpkin patch for the world. Natalia and Papa truly are two peas in a pod.

I'm sad we missed it... but it looks like it was a great time. The weather couldn't have been more ideal, and your photos turned out beautifully.
